When people ask me what my job title is, and I reply, "I'm an Esthetician," they look at me as though I have three heads.  It always makes me smile.   So, for clarification, Esthetician is an elegant word for "facialist."   Meaning that what I do for a living is help people improve their skin by providing luxurious and effective facial treatments. 

I have been practicing Esthetics in the St. Charles area for nine years. (And for the record, I have the best clients on the planet.)   In opening my own skin care center, I have strived to create a quaint, tranquil haven where every service is individually tailored and where the clients' needs are first priority.   

Your face is how you present yourself to the world.   That is why it is essential to have a luminous and healthy complexion.   Regular visits to your dermatologist, daily home care maintenance, facials from your Esthetician, and a healthy lifestyle will all assist you in having the best complexion possible.   That's where my services, knowledge and products come in handy.  

I have requests from my clients to let them spend the night at the spa or call them a cab to drive them home after receiving a facial, simply because they are so relaxed.   My facial treatments are not only pampering, but they provide fantastic results in clarifying the skin's tone and texture, healing lesions and scars from acne, reducing the appearance of fine lines and providing the skin with vital nutrients to maintain a healthy complexion.   All of my facials are customized to best suit your skin's individual needs, whatever they may be.   

Then there are the eyebrows.

Two things a woman may rightfully obsess about:  Her shoes and her eyebrows.   Men don't understand either of these fascinations, but we know exactly why great eyebrows are vital:   Because they frame your face and enhance your eyes.   I believe eyebrow shaping is an art.   My signature style is to maintain the fullness of the brows, while complementing the natural brow and face shapes.   Another signature eyebrow service that I do is eyebrow tinting.  Tinting enhances the eyes by providing the brows with rich color that matches your natural tones.

I also feel it is important to let my clients know that I have made the conscious choice to use products that contain natural and/or organic, plant-based ingredients whenever possible.  I try to lead an eco-friendly, sustainable lifestyle personally, and I practice this at my spa as well.
